Airport transfers
Manchester, Liverpool John Lennon, Leeds Bradford and Birmingham, plus the cruise terminals. We watch the flight and wait when it slips.
Licensed minibuses from 4 to 18 seats with an experienced driver. Airport transfers, corporate shuttles, school contracts, weddings and days out — across the North West and the length of the country.
Anything from a single airport run to a standing weekly contract. If you're not sure it fits, ask — most of our work starts with an odd request.
Manchester, Liverpool John Lennon, Leeds Bradford and Birmingham, plus the cruise terminals. We watch the flight and wait when it slips.
Site-to-site runs, shift transport, conference and exhibition travel. Account billing available for regular work.
Home-to-school routes, trips and sports fixtures, run to a fixed timetable with the same driver wherever possible.
Guest shuttles between ceremony, reception and hotels, so nobody has to nominate a driver or count taxis at midnight.
Race days, away matches, festivals, the Lakes, the Dales, North Wales. Door to door, and back whenever you're finished.
Churches, care and community groups, societies and teams. Tell us about access needs when you book and we'll plan around them.
Four to eighteen seats, maintained on a scheduled inspection programme and driven by a licensed, vetted driver. Over 18, we run vehicles in convoy so the group arrives together.
Families, small teams and airport runs where a taxi is too tight.
The workhorse. Corporate shuttles, school runs, weddings and day trips.
Our biggest. Keeps a large party together in one vehicle, not two.
We're minutes from the M61, which puts most of the North West inside an hour and the rest of the country on one clear run.
Regular pick-ups and drop-offs throughout Greater Manchester, Lancashire and Merseyside.
Long-distance runs are part of what we do, not an exception. London, the Midlands, Scotland, Wales and the South Coast — including multi-day trips where the vehicle and driver stay with your group throughout.
Tell us the route and we'll price it properly, including driver hours and overnight costs where they apply.

The practical detail, up front — so you know exactly what you're booking before you commit to anything.
Most enquiries are answered within 30 minutes, day or night. Send us the date, pick-up point, destination and how many of you there are, and we'll come back with a fixed price. Complicated multi-day or multi-vehicle jobs can take a little longer because we price them properly rather than guessing.
We quote a fixed price for the whole job, not a meter rate. It accounts for the vehicle size, total mileage, driver hours, waiting time and any tolls or parking. Long-distance and overnight work includes the driver's legally required rest, which is why a 300-mile round trip isn't simply double a 150-mile one.
The price we quote is the price you pay. If you change the job — extra stops, a later finish, more passengers — we'll tell you what that changes before we do it.
Payment terms are confirmed with your quote. For regular business, school and corporate work we can set up an account with invoicing rather than paying trip by trip — ask when you enquire.
Tell us as early as you can and we'll do what we can. Cancellation terms depend on how close to travel you are and whether we've turned other work away to hold the vehicle — they're set out in full in our booking terms and confirmed with your quote.
Changes to timings, pick-up points or passenger numbers are usually fine with reasonable notice.
Yes. Give us your flight number when you book and we'll check the arrival time on the day. If the flight is early or delayed, the driver's timing moves with it — you're not left waiting, and a delay outside your control doesn't change the agreed price.
We can also arrange a meet and greet in arrivals with a name board, which is worth it for larger groups or anyone who hasn't used the terminal before.
A reasonable allowance is built into every quote, and for airport pick-ups it runs from the actual landing time rather than the scheduled one. If you know in advance you'll need us to wait — a wedding, a match, a day out — tell us and we'll price the waiting in properly so there's no dispute at the end.
It depends on the vehicle and how full it is — luggage space and passenger seats compete for the same room. A 16-seater carrying 16 people and 16 suitcases is a different job from one carrying 10 people and hand luggage.
Tell us what you're carrying when you enquire — cases, golf clubs, instruments, sports kit — and we'll put you in the right vehicle. It's the single most common cause of problems on the day and it's completely avoidable.
Tell us what's needed when you enquire and we'll be straight with you about what we can and can't accommodate, rather than promising and hoping. That includes step height, folding wheelchairs, assistance getting aboard, and where the vehicle can realistically pull up at each end.
Yes. Bux Travel is a licensed PSV and private hire operator, all drivers hold the appropriate licences, and vehicles are maintained on a scheduled inspection programme and fully insured for passenger carrying. Schools, colleges and corporate clients who need to see documentation before booking can request it — just ask.
Yes, and it's a good part of what we do — school and college runs, staff shuttles and standing weekly bookings. On contract work we keep the same driver on the route wherever we can, which matters more than most people expect: they learn the route, the pick-up points and the passengers.
Anything from 4 to 18 in a single vehicle. Over 18, we run more than one minibus in convoy and keep them together so your group arrives at the same time rather than trickling in.
Anywhere in the UK. We're Bolton based and minutes from the M61, so the North West is our day-to-day, but London, the Midlands, Scotland and Wales are routine work rather than exceptions — including multi-day trips where the vehicle and driver stay with your group throughout.
